Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: what was not bridged (snowmobile bridges, MSG bridges) were easy walk/hop overs (teeny tiny streams)
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: One SIGNIFICANT blowdown that appears relatively new on BEAR POND TRAIL located about 1/2 between Bear Pond and the junction of Bear Pond/5 Summers Trails (the blowdown involves lots of branches on the tree blocking the entire trail)
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Dogs would enjoy these trails :-)
Bugs
Bugs: Not at all as bad as we'd anticipated! The worst (which was not even that bad) was of course in the afternoon. The light breeze also helped.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: A pair of glasses propped up on the wall inside the (southern wall) Steve Galpin Shelter

Comments
Comments: It was quite warm today. Despite this, the leaved-trees gave us a nice canopy of shade for almost the entire loop hike :-)
