One SIGNIFICANT blowdown that appears relatively new on BEAR POND TRAIL located about 1/2 between Bear Pond and the junction of Bear Pond/5 Summers Trails (the blowdown involves lots of branches on the tree blocking the entire trail) |

 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Dogs would enjoy these trails :-) |
|
 | Bugs: |
Not at all as bad as we'd anticipated! The worst (which was not even that bad) was of course in the afternoon. The light breeze also helped. |

A pair of glasses propped up on the wall inside the (southern wall) Steve Galpin Shelter |

 | Comments: |
It was quite warm today. Despite this, the leaved-trees gave us a nice canopy of shade for almost the entire loop hike :-) |
