 | Comments: |
Loop was mostly dry, with the exception of the orange trail from the pond toward Mack, which had a large mud pit in the usual place. Logging is reportedly done. Lots like most recent cuts were on the slope of Belknap, perhaps near the Boulder Trail.
First time using the new hiker lot. The East Gilford Trail from there to the former Fire Road gate is about a quarter of a mile long.
Hazy, hot afternoon with temperatures touching 90. Round Pond was nice, as a breeze blew some cooler air off the water. |
