Today was a trail work trip for PackFlag; I was the assistant. We cleared blowdowns and drainages. An inappropriate cairn was removed and so was some graffiti. |

Oh my starry stars, and not in a good way! The mosquitoes were swarming the car in the parking lot and this situation never improved. Rough conditions; definitely bring along all of your bug countermeasures!! |

We had a terrific time on this trailwork trip, despite the bugs. A giant blowdown got some chainsaw attention during the winter, and today we cleaned up what was left over. The chainsaw work left behind some pretty stumps that are now a cute photo op area. ;)
This is a beautiful trail to a great summit with fabulous views!! |
