Holt is becoming brushy along the brook/beaver pond and could use a haircut. There is signage at the Kulish Ledge/Holt junction that directs hikers to the "parking" at the old trailhead. That should probably be removed or changed as there is no longer any parking there. |

It was too chilly for the flying bugs, but one tick jumped aboard for a brief ride. |

A brief field visit along Bailey Brook in Nelson to check on a few things for the next SNHTG.
Wet trails, as expected. Very light drizzle was falling but no steady rain. In typical New England fashion, today was about forty degrees colder than yesterday! |
