| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
A few big blowdowns. Most noticeable was one between Starr King and Waumbek that was a double duckunder.
Word on the street is that Team Littlefoot handled it on their excursion today ;) |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Saw lots of happy puppers today. |
|
| Bugs: |
Only upside to today’s raw conditions was the lack of bugs. |
|
| Lost and Found: |
Picked up a “I Hiked Kilimanjaro” patch at the bottom of the trail. If it’s yours, email me and I will mail it out. |

Prototypical Waumbek hike today…
Raw, windy, cloudy, etc.
Whatever storm(s) rolled through yesterday must have come in fast and furious. Trails were relatively dry, but the leaf litter was pushed to the sides of the trail. Had to have been a fast moving river of water to do that. Also looks like it blew out a few water bars along the way. |
