 | Comments: |
Tower Road is closed because of a washout caused by beaver activity. This adds a 3-mile road walk each way to the trailhead. The walk has some elevation gain, but is pleasant and isolated. Didn't see anyone the whole time, my sixth 52WAV where that has happened. Coot Trail is steep and eroded. The fire tower offers solid views, but best viewpoint is on the 0.3-mile Outlook spur with ledge viewpoints for miles. Was pleasantly surprised by everything this hike had to offer. |
