| Water Crossing Notes: |
One part of the first (main) crossing proved difficult -- Alex's left leg went in, her foot got soaked. I took the liner out of her Sorels, wrapped her foot in a hiking towel and plastic, then stuck her foot back into her liner-less boot...that did the trick. She stayed warm and dry for the rest of the hike. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
A few blowdowns that require crawling under or climbing over. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Very easy trail for dogs. |

| Comments: |
Snow dusts the ground. Light traction might be nice in some spots, but the girls and I barebooted up and down without any problems whatsoever. The lack of deep snow is remarkable. Looked and felt like late October instead of mid-December. |
