This was a classic New England hike today. We got poured on and got pretty wet going up the Lambert Ridge Trail. Clouds lifted, and we got a good view at the fire Tower. Light rain at the beginning of the descent. Decided to give her the ranger trail a try since we were already wet and muddy. There was mud, but I wouldn’t call it significant. Some blow downs. It would be a great trail in the summer when it’s much drier, very easy walking further down. |
