Comments: The Horn, The Bulge, Mt. Cabot, Terrace North, Terrace Middle, Terrace

Camped at Unknown Pond Saturday night. Arrived at the trailhead about 5pm after the heavy rain had passed, and made it to the site by 6:30. Passed a solo lady on her way out who reported getting soaked. She looked ready to get to her car, but it was nice chatting. The trail was very wet. Headed out about 7am on Sunday. Lots of running water on the Kilkenny Ridge north of the Horn. Beautiful views from the Horn summit today. Bunnell notch has significant standing water and mud. As I ascended out of the Bunnell notch and across the Terraces, the trail became significantly drier. Seems like the rain did not hit this area nearly as hard. I really only went over to this area to scope out the campsites around Willard Notch for a future trip. The water source in Willard Notch had water, but it was not flowing well. Rather stagnant. This was my first time in this area, and it is beautiful. Love the remoteness of it compared to other areas of the Whites.
