Trails were in fantastic shape. These trails are becoming well trodden. |

Shay had zero trouble, he can scramble like a goat. Plenty of little streams on the whole route, only went through half his water. |

Mosquitos down low, black flies up high. The bugs were actually better then the last month, I wore shorts and barely used my headnet, I vdid use Ben's all day though, Mosquitos hate that dope. |

Shay grabbed #38 for his round 2 of the 52wav list. We did the loop this time, its longer, but quite pleasant. Someone told me South had a jar, I sure couldn't find it, if it is there. All the trails are in top shape, one huge trail blocking blowdown on the loop trail about 1/2 mile below the tent site. Will be back for Sugarloaf soon, I like that one too, all the Northern 52wav peaks are amazing and quiet. |
