northern part of Sandwich Notch Rd had some very icy spots where caution was needed; southern end pretty good..room for a couple of vehicles near trailhead |

wanting to explore more of the Sandwich Notch area, hit Algonquin..good going until into the fir forest then microspikes were very helpful..couple of scrambles where caution was needed due to the icy conditions..excellent looks from the numerous ledges..not many wet areas low as they were frozen.. |
