 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Decided to park at the junction of Hogan and North Rds as the .2 mile drive on Hogan looked pretty muddy and rocky. High clearance/four wheel drive vehicles should have no trouble grabbing that extra .2 mile to the small parking area next to the trailhead. |

 | Surface Conditions: |

Fairly decent blowdown about 2.5 miles up. |

 | Bugs: |
Mosquitoes at the car on arrival and return. Black flies at the view point. Moving between the two spots was fine. |

 | Comments: |
Somehow stayed out of the rain, despite driving through showers all the way from Plymouth into Gorham. Met 3 AT section hikers and 2 thru hikers who started on Feb 18, headed nobo. All in great spirits and fun to chat with. Good luck! |
