 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
All kinds of room for many more vehicles. |
 | Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock |
 | Recommended Equipment: |
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
Four water crossings that we decided to just walk through, rather than look for a dry way across - all on the Flat Mtn Pond trail after the split with the McCrillis trail. We didn’t see an obvious dry path and had extra socks, so what the heck. |
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trails were in excellent shape. |
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Didn’t see any, but this would be a very dog friendly route. |
 | Bugs: |
Plentiful at trailheads, not so bad everywhere else. A breeze on Sandwich Dome helped. Bug spray was needed. |

 | Comments: |
A counterclockwise loop from Flat Mtn Pond trailhead, past the split with McCrillis trail, to the shelter (in excellent shape), then a right up Bennett Street to Sandwich Dome, back down Bennett Street then continued on that trail all of the way to the ‘other’ Flat Mtn Pond/Bennett Street trailhead. The only real incline was on Bennett Street, the rest was easy going although river rocks were slippery. The lower section of Bennett Street alongside the river was especially nice. |
