Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Excellent moderately-sized parking lot on Route 124 directly across from the former Windblown Cross Country Skiing center (1180 Turnpike Road, New Ipswich)- estimate that lot could fit about 10 cars if all parked well and snug :-) *This lot (not to be confused with the other Wapack Lot 0.1 mile south of this lot and same side of the Route 124- the east side of the road)- you can really park at either one ;-) ***SEE BELOW ABOUT CAR SPOTTING***

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: N/A
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Only one blowdown approximately 0.1-0.2 mile south of Barrett Mtn Summit. It's a smaller-sized tree but the branches cover the trail- easy walk through
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Though we saw none, we think that they would enjoy this :-)
Bugs
Bugs: NONE... until we reach Binney Pond area- then just a few- not even enough to donn a net. HOWEVER, once we reached Binney Hill Road and headed east, we used the net for a short 0.3 mile stretch.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: None

Comments
Comments: The only reason we ended the hike (beautiful!) with ugh road walk for the last 4 miles... was that we had no car spot. IF YOU CAN CAR SPOT: you'll save yourself the road walk by parking at the drivable, western end of Binney Hill Road- where there is a very small pull off enough to fit 3-4 cars if parked perpendicular to the road. By parking here, you only have about an approximate 0.5 mile walk on Binney Hill "Road" to connect with The Wapack Trail itself to either head south to Watatic or head north to Pratt Mtn and beyond
