Rattle River seemed impassable to us. It was brown, so we turned around! We drove around to Carter Moriah trail and parked there. |

There were a couple duck unders and what looked like a fresh lightning strike or wind that cracked a big tree in half. |

We found a bladder and Sawyer squeeze kit up near the summit & left it at the trail head |

 | Comments: |
Trail was a river most of the way after all the rains we’ve had. Rocks/slabs/roots/mud were all slippery, and we slipped a bunch, but never fell. A little more careful coming down than going up. All in all, a beautiful disaster ;) |
