 | Comments: |
A fairly sloppy hike today with lots of mud, running water, and loose rocks. Mostly fogged in this morning with some of it breaking up when I was on the tower. Not much of a breeze. Quiet hike. Saw 4 others when I started back down. I walked up on a cow moose when I was just about at the top of Middle Wildcat. I didn't notice her until she made a noise. She was only about 10 feet from me on the edge of the woods. I said hello and she resumed eating her breakfast, with no concerns. |
