This post is to offer updates on roads since the last reports I could find are from 2022.

Biggest headline is there's a major culvert issue just south of mile 6 on Parmachenee road (just south of the Magalloway Rd jct). 1-1.5ft deep muddy rut spanning the width of the road - someone tried putting some brush/logs on one side to help. I was just barely able to get past it with my mid-clearance, AWD Rav4, but seriously thought about turning around (and driving 20+ miles back to Pittsburg at the end of the day). Even in high clearance / 4wd, I wouldn't attempt this again until it's repaired. There were some full logging trucks near Wilson's Mill, so maybe it'll get some attention sooner vs. later?

Other updates is many of the issues Liam and others previously reported have been repaired. Access road to Norton Pool Peak has been repaired to the west with lovely fresh gravel all the way to the HOL. Stub Hill access road has been repaired and is passable from the west to the col. Diamond Ridge access road has been repaired and is passable up to the summit loop junction. Some of these aren't fun to drive on, but all passable.

Other that the Parmanchee road issue, sketchiest driving parts of the day were tower road to Magalloway (despite the recent repairs) and some really muddy areas on Haystack Mountain Rd to Camp Seven.
