The swath from the customs bldg to the summit has been recently mowed and a lot of the ferns haven't leafed out yet so travel was easy. The swath looked recently mowed east of the peak too, though I couldn't see how far that continued. |

On a side note, there's a new sign for the 4th CT Lakes Trail that says no dogs are permitted on that trail. |

Quick and very enjoyable hike this morning. Round trip was less than a mile. Whoever goes up there next may want to bring a new register, the current one is just a collection of sheets of paper. |
