Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: East Inlet Road and Boundary Pond Road were in good shape, even for my regular-clearance AWD compact car. There were a few rocks jutting out that were easily avoidable.

Comments
Comments: 1st hike of the day. I parked at the driveable end of Boundary Pond Road, walked beyond the gate and entered the woods pretty quick. There were multiple grown-in old logging roads to choose from, though it was easier to stick to the woods. I was aiming straight for the summit, but at the flattish area at 2800' I ran into a lake of standing water, so I veered south a bit and went straight for the swath, coming out on the unnamed bump at 2940'. I continued north to the summit, signed in, and headed south. Most of the swath had been recently cut/mowed so it was easy to see where you were stepping. I stayed on the swath and didn't take the Sentier Frontalier due to the reports that it was overgrown. I continued south, enjoying the views, reached the summit, signed in and returned north, beginning a bushwhack at 2450'. The brush and hobblebush were surprisingly thick, making for slow going. This was definitely not a straight line. The dam outlet was easy to cross and I came out on the road almost right next to the pond. Despite the swarm of pterodactyls, it was a really enjoyable day on the swath, always a beautiful time up there.
