|
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
I wore my Tevas from the parking lot and then just stashed them after crossing. They felt oh so good on return! River is not rock-hoppable yet. |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trail is in good shape |
|
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
I would not bring a dog on this route unless it is part mountain goat and has pads of steel. |
|
 | Bugs: |
Black flies were very noticeable above 3500 ft. There was no wind today at all. |
|
 | Lost and Found: |
Someone hung a tan water bottle on the first slab approach at around 4200. |

 | Comments: |
This is a tough way to do Jefferson but very rewarding and quiet. I saw one other person the whole day. |
