Comments
Comments: This hike was a gem. I started my day up hale brook and about .2 miles in saw a black bear very close to trail in the brush, walking downhill - so incredible! Got my heart rate going early!
after summiting hale (I mean hell, this trail is steeeep and never levels out) I continued over to lend a hand which I loved! Such a beautiful trail, lots and lots of water and mud in sections. The twinway was steeeeep, and the zeacliff outlook did not disappoint. Heading down I really enjoyed the mostly flat zealand trail with magical mountain view ponds, then downhill walk to my car at HB trailhead. One of my favorites thus far!
