Grabbed our second ascent of this peak, Hibbard Mt. is wooded, but it's a fine hike and the trails are fantastic. We wanted to hike in spite of the forecast, if you pick the right peaks and trails, there is no reason to stay home. Rainy days are better for Shay than those hot sunny days anyway and it's all about my dog, if he's having fun, my heart is full. FYI, while on the 52wav a view list, this peak has been de-listed, but you may still count it towards your patch if so desired. This was Shays' #41 for his second round of the 52wav, our goal is to finish in a year, we are on schedule for a 10 month finish. |
