Parking/Access Road Notes: Small lot off Route 49 was nearly full by mid-afternoon.

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Drakes Brook is flowing rapidly and is deep. Waded through with my boots on and my pants rolled up. Rock hopping will be very difficult. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: This trip was part of my trail maintenance work on Drakes Brook Trail. Trail is wet and muddy. Cleared out drainages and cut a few blowdowns. There are still two or three remaining.

Bugs: Mosquitoes seems to be abating over the last week or so.

Comments: Headed up to Jennings Peak midway through my Drakes Brook Trail maintenance work. The views from the main peak as well as a few herd paths provide almost a 360 view from the several vantage points. This is an underappreciated 52WAV peak.
