Comments
Comments: Section south of Nash Stream was recently logged by by SPNHF. Trail is marked but its easy to miss. Trail is in nice well maintained shape until the to turn off the main haul road heading to Gadwah Notch. After tht the trail bed degrades into moss and wet stretches transitioning to open forests with the understory ferns and hobblebush are trying to move in on the trail. This is an issue until the Millsfield wind farm area where the trail transitions to road walks. It then gets wet again from the Balsams over to Table Rock.

Baldhead shelter is dry, closed water from the south is about 7 tenths on the ascent. Bring a water bag and haul it up.

We did not see another person on the trail for three days until Route 26. Not a lot of views.
