I am the trail adopter. There is a new complicated 3 tree blowdown about 0.1 miles from the trailhead (yay for the trees making things easily accessible). We hiked a sunrise hike and didn’t have our saws (what were we thinking?) so we returned this afternoon and took care of the offenders. Mischief managed.
Other than this, no changes since my last trail report. Drainages are draining, yay!
We hiked up to the East Ledges for sunrise (which was terrific, as always) as an out-and-back. Then we returned later in the day with our Silky saws (see Trail Maintenance section). I love everything about this trail and this kind of hiking! |
