Comments
Comments: 2nd hike (felt more like a swim) of the day, knocking off some more 52WAV's for Margaret. The first mile of the Ski Trail is absurdly muddy with standing water/mud pits/streams everywhere. Great for a hot day. Old Path doesn't mess around it is steep and straight up to the col. Views were once again extremely limited with the haze from the wildfires+heat+humidity. Really enjoyed taking the ski trail down like I did redlining a few years back. Top half is a great, dry walk before you hit the muck down low. Can't wait to ski this some day looks really fun. Could smell the smoke strongly while driving the kanc home, and caught some crazy blood red sun views from Kanc Pass and the Hancock overlook.
