 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Removed blowdown reported by peakbagger. The report was very helpful since I was already hauling a rake and grass whip and hadn't planned to also carry tools for large blowdown removal. But I knew if peakbagger only trimmed it, I was going to need more than a handsaw. He cuts out a ton of blowdowns. So I worked out a way to carry all that shit up there and it worked out good. Got a lot done. |

 | Bugs: |
I had some seriously real holes chewed in my arms by blackflies. Probably only affecting me though, as I was cutting back ferns with a grass whip and they were erupting out of the vegetation. |

 | Comments: |
Cherry Mountain trail is slightly soggy for the first half mile. Weather report predicted thick haze and that was correct, so no views. |
