Magalloway Mtn Rd was gravel and fine to drive on. Tower Rd was a bit tricky, but doable in my CRV. Definitely do not take a small car.
Plenty of parking.
Plan on 20 to 30 minutes driving from main road.
Clean outhouse with toilet paper and hand sanitizer in the parking lot. |

 | Comments: |
Saw a moose right at the turn on Tower Road.
We went up Coots. Pretty steep all the way up and lots of scree. Picnic table at the top. Firetower was sturdy. Unfortunately, we had socked in views.
Go to the lookout.
Took Bobcat down. It was very muddy, slippery and overgrown, but not steep.
If heading back to Rt 145, I highly recommend stopping at Beave Brook Falls. Absolutely beautiful. |
