 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
First one at the lot, as I came down just before 9, there were two cars at the Percival lot but the Morgan lot was full and the opposite side parking area was rapidly filling. |
 | Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant |
 | Recommended Equipment: |
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
All of the standing water and most of the major mud is all navigable due to great trail maintenance. Had a deluge of rain last night so got wet because of the leaves still dripping pretty good first thing. |
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Overall really good. There is a blowdown on the Morse Trail Connector (about 10” tree) but did navigable and did not have proper tools to remove it. |
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Saw no one until below the caves/cliff junction. Saw the first trail dog about 30 minutes later and the other few near the trailhead. Mt Morgan is definitely doable by any trail dog with experience as there is a go-around so you don’t have to navigate the 3 ladders. As long as the dog is good on rock ledges Percival is also doable though you may need to help them. |
 | Bugs: |
Mosquitos were out but as long as you keep moving and spray yourself, you should escape without too much harm! |

 | Comments: |
Started just before 6 and was done in just over 3 hrs which included multiple stops to take pics before going to my second hike of the day over at Roberts and Shaw. Gorgeous weather and would definitely do this hike again! |
