Comments
Comments: This is my first time doing the 48 so I am still learning about all the trails. Osseo was a great trail. A bit long and looking the same much of the way, but worth it for the moderate slope and interesting stairways. Great trail for trail runners as there is so much flat dirt to run on, especially fun going down. I enjoyed the switchbacks and the rocky summit area. Fantastic views. Most people I met were doing the Pemi Loop or the Franconia Ridge as a one day traverse, or at least doing Flume + Liberty. But I was just up there for Flume and lunch, then back down for a dip in the river. Great 10 miles worth every minute and drop of sweat.
