Bugs
Bugs: Surprisingly not too bad, I think there were only a handful of annoying ones over the course of 11 miles. And didn't need bug spray either.

Comments
Comments: Loop from Pinkham Notch parking lot along Lost Pond trail up Wildcat Ridge trail all the way to A then back to the top of the ski area, down Polecat and finally Crewcut to Old Jackson rd since I didn't want to walk along the road. Lost Pond trail was surprisingly rough, lots of wet rocks and mud and some trees down. Going up Wildcat Ridge trail was not particularly bad, steep and some wet rocks but no slippage for me. Views of Washington are nice as you go. Majority of the mud is between Wildcats D and A. Deepest mud if I recall correctly was getting near the A end. Polecat was easy to go down except for some area of loose rock and gravel if you're going fast. Much more pleasant to go down than going back down Wildcat Ridge. Crewcut doesn't seem to see much traffic but was fine.
