Comments
Comments: Excellent day for a hike—great views up Glen Boulder and David path all day. The trail was in great shape until the approach to Isolation, where we encountered a few significant blowdowns and sections of mud. One of these sections was so deep that I couldn’t feel the bottom with my hiking pole, so it took a bit of footwork to get around it. We spotted fresh moose tracks and scat, but no glimpse of the actual moose. One cute snake sighting as well; a maroon fellow with zigzag markings. Rain came as we dipped below treeline on the way back, making for some slick rocks that required careful footing. All in all a hard but great hike today.
