Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The main water crossing was fundamentally changed by the week of heavy rain in May. What was once a wide channel with lots of stepping stone options is now a narrow but deep channel with one fabulous perfectly aligned row of boulders (plus one short log) for easy rock hopping.

Comments: It is always an excellent day on Carrigain. Signal Ridge is a great trail with fast footing. The views were compromised by haze and wildfire smoke, but beautiful mountain layers were visible. About a dozen hikers were out on this trail this morning.
