Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Nothing.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Save for a acouple blow downs on Dickey Mtn trail going down the stairways area towards trailhead, trails are generally in great shape. Thanks very much to the trail maintainers
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: My friends brought their friendly pooch, but we hadn't seen any other canines among the few groups & individuals we encountered, until, we returned the trailhead
Bugs
Bugs: Nada. Except a few airborne annoyances in at the trailhead picnic table upon our return. On the open ledges, etc, light breezes may have grounded a few.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Nothing except trash left behind. Carried out some. Carry in, carry out...

Comments
Comments: Beautiful, sunny day with a few puffy clouds onthe horizon. Light breezes cooled us off.
Very light hiking crowds. Thinking back, I dunno that I'd ever done this hike in July, much less, mid-week.

And, did I say no bugs on the trail? Yay! No bugs!

Delighted how one our friends, a professional naturalist pointed out Birds by call, Orin some instances, those nearby and visible, by sight. Also saw a Milk Snake at our feet on the way over Welch Mtn trail and a Sawfly Larvae, that looked like an almost neon lemon yellow catapillar onour last leg of our descent from Dickey Mtn.

Everyone had a good morning hiking one of the most popular trail circ's in NH's White Mountains.

Great company on a wonderful day of hiking. Doesn't get any better.
