Comments
Comments: We went clockwise. Make sure when you get to the first cliff you turn back and look up, as you can see the ledges you are about to climb. There are a few scrambles that can be a bit technical, but no real issue. Lunch at Welch is my preference. The views as you cross over the ledges to Dickey are beautiful. There were a few times we sat on our butts so we would not slip on the wet rock. You could mostly walk on the dry rock, but sometimes it was unavoidable. Definitely wouldn't do this after a rain storm. From Dickey down to lot was a breeze.
Took us 3 hours and 20 minutes to complete this hike including snacking and stopping to
talk to people. Fun trail. I think children over 8 would love this trail.
