What a day! What a view! Many Muddy spots but navigable; tried to go through them not around them where possible. Busy trail with all the Zealand 4K list hikers and families at the hut. Envied the guy who’d just camped at Guyot 2 nights, presumably for a Bonds traverse. The view of Carrigain Notch from the hut
Is growing up but still there.
Good luck to the gentleman doing a hut to hut traverse this week with his son as they make their way over to Greenleaf.
We marveled at three snakes Sunning themselves on a rock in front of the bench; hope it didn’t disturb his son’s sleep. |
