| Recommended Equipment: |

|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
1 step across and 1 bridged, no issues |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Overall the trail is in great shape and signs of recent work down low. 1 12-15” birch across the trail 1 mile in, an easy step over. That’s it for impediments. Some brushing up high would be beneficial as there’s minor trail creep but the trail is always easy to follow. It’s easy to miss a blaze around the ledge areas. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
No easy water except at the lower water crossings, though some trickles up high. Some dogs may not appreciate the re-route; it’s a bit rough. Didn’t bother the dogs I saw. |
|
| Bugs: |
None, amazingly. This trailhead parking lot usually has black flies and mosquitos as big as your fist, and lots of them. Not today. |

| Comments: |
One of the best views in the area for the effort. A bit if a chill up top but I resisted the fleece. Mt Washington was in the clouds but all other peaks were visible. Nice clear air finally. |
