Glen Brook was aichan amazing trail. There is one small water crossing. There were two sections on the ledge that was a little technical, but doable. The ridge all the way up to Davis Path were beyond stunning. We did not do the Boot Spur, because it added one mile. The last part of Davis Path had mud and blow downs. Isolation trail was the worst. Going down Rocky Branch was horrible, there were tons of rocks, roots, mud pits, broken bog boards, standing water, lots of water crossings that weren't that easy. It was 7.4 miles of yuk. I wish we went back down Glen Boulder. The summit of Isolation you will get 360 degrees of incredible views. Make sure you go to the top summit where the two geo disc are. |
