Comments
Comments: Some more perambulation at Pisgah, covering some old ground again along with some new.

Starting out, trails were mainly wet from yesterday's rain but were drying out quickly. The trickiest spot is the "causeway" stretch of Fullam Pond Trail. Lots of flooding here but hikers can get through with care. Expect wet boots though.

The upper 1.4 mi. of Fullam Pond Trail is very lightly-used, wet, muddy, and washed out in places. I walked it up to the gate at the park boundary. To avoid backtracking for a ways or a road walk back to the car, I went back about a quarter mile to an old logging road that initially went east but started to turn away from where I wanted to go. I then took to the open woods and bushwhacked over to Beal's Knob Trail, not far from the trailhead.

Aside from the bugs, it was a pleasant walk in the woods.
