| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Parked at Bog Brook. Room for 8 cars, a few parked along the road as overflow. The dirt portion of the road can be done carefully with a sedan. No bathroom. |

| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant |

|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
Third crossing on Bog Brook is tricky. Rocks are slippery due to low traffic. I got both feet completely submerged. Others were rock hopped easily. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
On Wildcat Ridge: two walk arounds with established herd paths near A. A few climb overs, duck unders, leaners/hangers, and one walk through (you’ll know it when you see it) between A and D. The area with a few bog bridges on Wildcat Ridge: the bridges are all out of place as though people actually moved them…they definitely need to be placed correctly. |

| Comments: |
Just checking in for the trail maintenance. Nice, quiet trails up to Carter Notch. Be aware that Wildcat Valley ski trail is very wet and boggy for the top mile or so. Some areas are a bit overgrown and you’ll be wading through ferns and some tall grasses for short periods. |
