A few stepover and duckunder blowdowns, at least one of which was chainsaw size. Tremendous amount of unmitigated erosion getting worse by the year. Very sad to see this trail gullying out. |

Trail was generally dry, but there was muck in the usual areas.
Very busy day on the trail; about the busiest I've ever seen it. Conga line of folks later in the morning, quite a few of whom didn't seem to know what they were hiking.
Nice sunny day with temperatures in the 70s down low, but a bit breezy (refreshing) up top. |
