Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The few that might be called crossings on this trail are not major anyway, and they were easy to cross on ample rocks and boulders.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trail is in generally good shape, with some erosion evident, along with some trail creep around the larger muddy areas. On the descent from the main peak over toward the east peak, there is a large long-dead, barkless tree trunk across the trail. This is a fairly easy straddle/step-over.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw a few, well-behaved, and all were leashed.
Bugs
Bugs: I applied DEET at the trailhead, but I didn't really see any bugs anyway.
