Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The water crossings on Falling Waters Trail were doable without getting wet, but you had to stop, think and plan a little. Used my poles for balance on one crossing.

Comments
Comments: This hike has some of everything: beautiful woods, lovely waterfalls, alpine hiking, rocks, ridgeline and 360 degree panoramic views. Little Haystack has great views out to Flume and Liberty (hiked last week), and a fantastic ridgeline view up to Lincoln. The trail was easy to follow, but very packed for a Thursday. People everywhere. Pay attention at the top of Lafayette as there are two trails down. Make sure you're going to the right destination. Maintenance crews are working on the Old Bridlepath Trail installing marvelous stairways. Lots of backbreaking hard work. Thank you all for your efforts!! Roughly two miles out in the sun above treeline.
