As expected, extra super muddy. Especially between the first and second water crossings - so deep people are widening the trail on the edges but somewhat understood. Exceptionally rainy summer - probably the most rain I can recall since i started hiking in the WMNF back in the early 80's. Took pictures at the lookout for several people - hopefully they came out ok! |
