Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: No significant water crossings, but there was a lot more water than we expected flowing over glen boulder.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Some blowdowns. Mud, but generally avoidable if you step on rocks/sticks esp if you have poles to test it out and help balance. There are a couple areas on glen boulder where a new "trail" seems to have been made by enough people going off trail (perhaps thinking it was the correct trail, like myself), and then realizing it is not- causing some erosion.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw a few. One who had done many of the 48 turned back at the first major scramble.
Bugs
Bugs: Barely any
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: I found someone's plastic bag of yellow flowers..

Comments
Comments: An epic adventure. More water on glen boulder than expected but it was easy to keep feet dry in waterproof boots. One scramble that was harder on the way up. We ended up going very slow in the beginning and then booking it at parks to make it down before sunset (which we did not). We got confused using gaia (which is a first for me), thinking the peak marked "north isolation" was the "main isolation," but we realized our mistake. We had paper maps but were using gaia to navigate and were rushing, which also lead to going down dry river trail for a bit and having to backtrack. Moral of the story, dont rush navigation decisions even when on a clock. Overall, the views were amazing and because of the inconsistent pace it was definitely more tiring than it had to be.
