Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: trails were in great shape. RMC does a fabulous job maintaining these trails, most of the blowdowns I encountered earlier this month on these trails are already cleared. Hats off and thank you to the great crew.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Cooper had a great time. Water is still flowing in several locations at lower elevations, especially, but not much above treeline (bring plenty for the thirsty pup in the sun). Mud on lower trails, so expect a potentially muddy pup by the end of the day. The rocks up to Sam seemed rougher than others, which may be a problem for some pup paws. Coop didn't have problems, but I imagine that it could be an issue for other pups. There was only one location on Lowes that I had to guide Coop along the edge of the boulder, but other than that the trails are OK for doggios.

Comments
Comments: Last hike for the TW72 list, now the trail work..... Great day to be out, much less wind than earlier in the week. Sun was out and views were great. Didn't see another person until summitting; others were coming off Adams. Encountered no one on descent. No one at the any of the cabins. I really like descending on the Spur trail with many opportunities to look at Kings Ravine, and the occasional waterfall, and a very nice cabin with great views to relax at and fill up with water. And, the King Ravine trail (between Lowes and Spur) is a wonderful woodsie walk, very pleasant.
