Comments
Comments: I had been stalling on this one because I had heard Hogan Road was tough on some vehicles. While there were a few rocks jutting up, there was nothing to cause any issues (unless maybe for low riders). I drove slowly and was there within minutes (maybe it's Success Pond Road that I was supposed to worry about).

I liked the Centennial Trail; a nice mixture of grades. Some moderate, some steep, and flat areas where you can catch a breath. A few ledgy areas here and there had limited views along the way. There is a small area that seems to have had a limited fire. Trail meets up with the Mahoosic Trail near the summit. The summit is flat and somewhat open, you descend further for the ledges to get the great views. Not too far from the start is a mile marker on the ground that I think says 1902 or maybe 1907. You're getting close, folks! Keep up the good work and enjoy Maine. We met several NOBOs and one person who has three left on the 52WAV (so do we now that Mt. Hayes has been visited. We also met someone on the way down who will be finishing in NH.

One question about the trail. Off to the side of the ledges, it seems to continue. Explored it a little, but tired and wanted to get back to the car before putting the lights on. According to my understanding of what I read, Centennial ends at the ledges. Is this an old part of the Mahoosic?
