Comments
Comments: Started the hike at 0800 from lafayette campground going up past lonesome lake & out to south kinsman, came back over the cannon balls & ended tagging cannon & decending down the high cannon trail. The entire trail was running water except for the swampy lowland sections of the trail (cannon balls). At some point the person i was hiking with & i decided to just let our feet go in versus breaking our necks avoiding the deep pools of water & mud. The sun poked through a number of times i can count on one hand but the weather was still. The weekend weather this year has left much to be desired.
