Amazing! Just amazing. Steady, steep climb up Pamola to start. Rocks, rocks, and rocks once you are above tree line. Views are phenomenal! Better even than expected. The Chimney is the most challenging part. The Knife's Edge isn't as scary as the storys say. Although I can see where if the weather were at all questionable it could very well be. I would not want to do this hike in any kind of weather where there may be ice. Very steep rocky trip down the saddle trail until the Chimney Pond area. Fantastic pristine countryside! Just do it! 9.5 miles, total hike time including sitting around at the top of 10.5 hours. |
