Comments: I got my Carters done today. Great loop. I parked at 19 mile brook trail and then walked on the road a very short ways to Camp Dodge, then simply walked through their parking lot while looking at Gaia gps to find my way to the trail connector to Imp Trail. Long and steady moderate trail around 4 miles up through the woods. Cute waterfall and great looking (yet probably illegal) camp with fire ring there. Continued up to Carter-Moriah trail and that wooded ridge line is so fun as it becomes the AT and has some fun rocks and mud to negotiate. Good views with clouds moving in and out. Easy to collect up those summits! Worth the long day which came out to 12 miles for me. I skipped Mt Height. The grey jays eyed my blueberries on the Carter Dome summit. I went down Zeta Pass and Carter Dome trail back to 19 mile and the final stretch to the car. No regrets!
